Mixed Martial Arts - MMA
Mixed Martial Arts is a full contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from other combat sports and Martial Arts.
Patriot Karate teaches the mixture of Muay-Thai and Jiu-Jitsu techniques. We believe this is a perfect fighting style combination. Muay-Thai is a striking style that originated in Thailand and used body conditioning through contact to strengthen a student. Muay-Thai Martial Artists primarily uses close quarters weapons such as elbow and knees to take out an opponent, but still use punches and kicks.
The combination of Mauy-Thai and Jiu-Jitsu teaches our students a wide-range of offensive and defensive techniques. Through this program you will be challenged to be your best.
